Leianna’s journey through the world of Drum Corps began in 1998, marked by her spirited performances with Pacific Crest from 1998 to 2000. She concluded her memorable drum corps experience with Troopers the first year Pacific Crest ventured beyond California. Proudly carrying her drum corps legacy, she later contributed to the community as a member of Pacific Crest’s Board of Directors from 2009 to 2012.
Following her time on the field, Leianna pursued her passion for the outdoors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from Cal Poly Pomona. This academic pursuit laid the foundation for her career in the outdoor industry, where she immersed herself until the call of family beckoned. She transitioned into a role that became her most cherished: nurturing and educating her two children through homeschooling. Despite the career pivot, her love for capturing life’s moments persisted since the age of 10 when she first held a Kodak Ektralite 110 film camera.
Today, Leianna remains a devoted Californian, raising her children in Irvine. Whether she’s documenting family milestones, capturing the essence of her travels, or seizing the beauty in everyday adventures, her camera is always by her side, a faithful companion to her lifelong passion for photography.
