In addition to our flagship program, Pacific Crest Drum & Bugle Corps, we offer a series of educational programs during the year.
Camps and Workshops
Educational events designed to bring together high school students from throughout Southern California. From less experienced brass, percussion, and color guard performers to those with advanced skills as well as drum majors and students leaders, Pacific Crest camps and workshops will meet you where you are and take you to the next level!
Private Lessons
Custom individual instruction with Pacific Crest educators, where you choose your level of intensity and set your goals. Whether you’re playing for fun, building your technical skills, or preparing for an audition or assignment — our private lesson program is for you. Register for a single lesson, or choose a six-pack or 12-pack. You choose the start date; you choose the end date. And you can renew as many times as you wish.
Virtual Studio Library
Your complete library of performing arts educational content. You will find more than 70 video lessons and demonstrations for brass, percussion, color guard, visual/dance, and field conducting. View our audition packets and technique manuals, or watch one of our master classes. You can even play along with excerpts from our 2019 production, “Everglow.”The Library can help you prepare for our drum corps auditions, but it is more than that. High school band and color guard students will find the Library full of useful lessons for you and your school program. And educators may use the materials during class.
Outreach
Attending a live drum corps show can be unaffordable for high school students. To provide a more affordable option, Pacific Crest’s School Outreach Program offers free and discounted tickets for school groups to attend Corps at the Crest San Diego or Drum Corps at the Rose Bowl. To see if your school qualifies for free tickets, contact Stuart Pompel at pompel@pacific-crest.org.
