Announcing Our 2024 Drum Major Team

After an exhaustive audition process, we are proud to introduce the talented individuals who will lead Pacific Crest on the field in 2024: Bridget Barragy, Justine Nava, Harper Dame, and Cassandra Anderson! Learn more about the Drum Major Team and what they’re looking forward to this season:

Bridget Barragy

Returning for her third and final season at Pacific Crest is Head Drum Major Bridget Barragy (Houston, TX). She currently attends the University of Texas at Austin as a senior where she studies Molecular Botany and Rhetoric. Prior to college, Bridget attended Foster High School where she served as a drum major for her final two years. In college, she has participated in on-campus botany research and local pro bono business consulting. As we enter the 2024 season, Bridget is excited to “make the most of my age-out and grow alongside a group of kind, passionate, talented performers!”

Justine Nava

Returning for her second season with Pacific Crest is Drum Major Justine Nava (Whittier, CA). She is in her second year of college studying both music education and political science. Prior to college, Justine played clarinet and baritone sax at California High School, where she also served as Drum Major. She looks forward to “creating connections and bonds that can only happen through music, as well as enjoying each moment spent with my family of performers.”

Harper Dame

Entering her first season with Pacific Crest is Harper Dame (El Segundo, CA). She is a senior at El Segundo High School and is dual enrolled at El Camino College studying Mechanical Engineering. Throughout high school, Harper participated in marching band as a flute and trombone player, as well as Drum Major her last two years. She also enjoys playing in concert band, jazz band, and symphony orchestra. She is planning on majoring in Aerospace Engineering in her college career. Harper is excited about “joining a new family that shares a passion for music and taking in everything from this experience.”

Cassandra Anderson

Entering her first season with the Pacific Crest Drum Major Team is Cassandra Anderson (Beaverton, OR). She is currently a nursing student at Linfield University, where she plays alto saxophone and serves as the Drum Major for the Linfield Marching Band. In high school, Cassandra marched flute for three seasons before serving as a Drum Major for her final year. Regarding the upcoming 2024 season, Cassandra says, “I am excited to go on this journey with the corps, and to learn from so many talented individuals!”
