Genevieve Hilburn
Bass Drum Instructor
GENEVIEVE HILBURN hails from Southern California, born and raised in Northern Los Angeles. She currently attends California State University Northridge in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in percussion performance. She works as a percussion instructor for the fall and winter programs at Thousand Oaks High School and La Cañada High School, as well as a bass drum instructor for Meraki Percussion (PIO). Genevieve also currently serves as interim assistant director of RCC Indoor Percussion.
Over the course of her own marching career, she performed with the Blue Devils B (2016), the Academy (2017), and the Bluecoats (2019), receiving instruction from some of the most reputable educators in the activity along the way. Genevieve is endorsed as an educator by Vic Firth.
