Meet the 2018 Pacific Crest Drum Majors

Pacific Crest is proud to introduce our drum majors for the 2018 season: Andrew Fresquez, Andrew Barone, and Andrea Nordahl.

Andrew Fresquez

Head Drum Major Andrew Fresquez is a five-year veteran of Pacific Crest. He is currently finishing his Associate’s degree in Music Performance at Riverside City College, and plans to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and a Master’s Degree in Conducting. Andrew marched euphonium at Pacific Crest for three years and was an assistant drum major in 2017. He has also performed with the Moreno Valley Wind Symphony and the RCC Marching Tigers. This is his age-out year.

Fun Fact: In my free time I teach private lessons and enjoy rock climbing.

Andrew Barone

Andrew Barone is a saxophone player currently studying Music Education and Music Composition at Cal State Fullerton with hopes of being a high school band director. This is his first and age-out year with Pacific Crest.

Fun Fact: I grew up playing baseball and am a huge fan of the Angels, Lakers, and NY Giants.

Andrea Nordahl

Andrea Nordahl is a first year student at Oregon State University, where she is pursuing a double major in math and education. This is her third season with Pacific Crest, having marched trumpet in 2016 and 2017.

Fun Fact: My favorite animal is a giraffe. (I have more than 20 stuffed animals).
