5 Reasons to Spend 4th of July Weekend in Southern California

July 4th takes place on a Monday, which means a great opportunity for a four-day weekend! Southern California is the place to be that weekend if you’re a drum corps fan.

1. Friday, July 1 | Drum Corps in San Diego | TICKETS =>
Attend the DCI season opener in Southern California on Friday, July 1st, at El Camino High School in Oceanside. Madison Scouts will be here for the first time since 2007!

2. Saturday, July 2 | Drum Corps at the Rose Bowl | TICKETS =>
On Saturday, July 2nd, head north to the beautiful city of Pasadena, and spend the evening at the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium. This is a huge event which will include the 2015 DCI World Champion Blue Devils.

3. Sunday, July 3 | Drum Corps at RCC | DETAILS =>
No So Cal drum corps weekend is complete without the longest running DCI show in Southern California.

4. Monday, July 4 | Parades
Many local cities honor our independence with parades. Pacific Crest will be performing at the Moreno Valley Fourth of July Parade.

5. Monday, July 4 | AMERICAFEST
Witness the most amazing fireworks show at Rose Bowl Stadium’s Americafest, presented by Honda.
