Giving Wisely

As the 2014 tax year comes to a close, many donors are deciding where to make their year-end gifts. Did you know that Pacific Crest accepts many different types of donations?

Cash Donations
Gifts made by check or debit/credit are certainly the most common type of donation we receive.
MAKE A GIFT –>

Company Donations for Volunteering
If you volunteered for Pacific Crest during the year, your company may make a gift to the organization as compensation for your time.

Company Matching Programs
Many companies match the donations their employees make to nonprofits. If you made a donation earlier to Pacific Crest, check with your company’s HR department to see if they have a matching gift program.
MORE ABOUT CORPORATE MATCHING –>

Donations of Stock
Pacific Crest accepts donations of stock. Some people hold stock from an inheritance; some have experienced good fortune with their investments. Either way, donating stock instead of cash provides a double-benefit by avoiding capital gains tax while enjoying the tax deduction for that gift.
