After nine weeks, the members of Pacific Crest Dance Theater took the stage in performance on Sunday, April 1, 2012. Read more for the rest of the story and photos from the concert.This marked the second year for Dance Theater, a program designed by Director Angela Tousley. Thirteen participants, including current Pacific Crest members, alumni, and students from local communities, shared with friends and family the skills they’ve been developing since January.
Six pieces of different dance styles, such as modern, hip hop and jazz, were featured in the show. Professional lighting amplified the artistic creativity of each choreographer, ultimately making this an experience of high quality and design. Dance Theater is intended to provide students with another opportunity to perform, while exposing them to more styles and higher levels of dance.
