WILLIAM CLAYTON, originally from Moreno Valley California, is proud to return to the Pacific Crest Staff. His passion for performance was first cultivated in color guard in 2006, when he began spinning with his middle school team, and continued for eight more seasons.
He eventually performed with Pacific Crest in 2010 and 2011, and the Cavaliers in 2012. After graduating high school Will joined the RCC Marching Tigers for their 2012 season, and Fantasia for the following winter in 2013.
He was driven to pursue his passion for dance, and received his BFA in Dance Theatre in 2016 from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. He spent two years working in Los Angeles as a freelance dancer, working in musicals such as West Side Story and Evita, contemporary companies like Ezralow Dance and Invertigo, and in the commercial industry.
In 2018 he moved to Denver, Colorado, to dance full-time with the ballet company Wonderbound, a place that rigorously shaped his technique. After three years, he pursued an MFA in Choreography and Visual art from Wilson College which was completed in 2023.
He recently moved back to Southern California where he has returned to working in the dance industry with a greater focus on teaching and developing his own choreographic voice.
