Quintin Toma is a dedicated academic specializing in music education and performing arts. He began his career in high school marching band, following in the footsteps of his older brothers, which led him to perform with Pacific Crest in 2018 and 2019 at the ages of 16 and 17.
After these formative years, he developed an interest in movement, studying modern dance and ballet at his community college while taking music courses from 2019 to 2022. This passion for movement and performance inspired him to participate in multiple community college dance shows and march with the Blue Knights in 2022.
Upon graduating from his community college and continuing his studies at California State University, Fullerton, Quintin further honed his skills. He earned a spot as a mellophone performer with the Blue Devils in 2023 and was also hand-selected to join the RCC Indoor Percussion Visual Ensemble that same year.
Building a strong reputation in the performing arts community, he was hired as a visual instructor at El Dorado High School and Arcadia High School. These diverse experiences in movement and performance enabled him to march his age-out year with RCC Indoor Percussion as a visual ensemble member in 2024.
Currently, Quintin is completing his final year as an undergraduate student in music education at California State University, Fullerton. He also serves as a visual instructor for Chino High School, El Dorado High School, Arcadia High School, and Dark Sky Indoor Percussion. This year marks his first season with Pacific Crest as a visual educator.
