Brass Instructor
Currently based out of Boston Massachusetts, JOSEPH VENEZIA is an active performer and educator. Joseph’s career has led him to perform across both the United States and Europe. He is an active freelancer and has performed with the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Civic Symphony, Symphony Pro Musica, and the Mid Cities Brass Quintet. While performing with Mid Cities Brass, Joseph was a featured artist at Tarleton State’s Brass Week, where he worked with the Boston Brass. Joseph has also performed with notable artists such as Kane Brown and Streetlight Manifesto, as well as the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving halftime show. Joseph has performed multiple music festivals including Mostly Modern, Prague Summer Nights, and Music Academy International in the Italian Dolomites.
Joseph maintains an active private studio, from which students have won all-region, all-area, and all-state honors. He enjoys working as a clinician and has had workshops with marching bands and award-winning programs around the state of Texas. Joseph graduated with a Master of Music degree from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas at Arlington. Joseph was a member of the Madison Scouts and Cadets drum and bugle corps. His primary teachers have included Gerald Wood and Eric Ruske.
