Color Guard Instructor
BRITTANY WHITLOW started her color guard journey in 2014. She spent four years in Green Valley High School’s color guard program in Las Vegas, Nevada. During her time at Green Valley HS, as a sophomore, she and a fellow teammate started the first middle school program in the Las Vegas area at the time. Starting this middle school color guard sparked a new passion for teaching, and after graduating in 2018 she was excited to continue performing and teaching.
In the fall of 2018, she continued her teaching career as a Color Guard Director at Greenspun JHS and a Technician at Desert Oasis HS. She was soon offered the Color Guard Director position for Desert Oasis in the fall of 2019. She has recently become a Weapon choreographer and Technician at Silverado HS in the winter of 2021 and was also a guest instructor at Western HS in 2021.
Brittany’s passion for performing made her start her drum corps career in 2018 with Heatwave Drum and Bugle Corps. In 2019 she continued performing with the Open Class group 702 Independent that following winter season. Her drum corps career continued when she marched with Pacific Crest in 2019 for their monumental season. She continued to perform with Pacific Crest for the following 2020, 2021 and 2022 seasons.
Brittany currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada and continues to pass on her passion for color guard to her 3 programs. She is ecstatic for her first season teaching at Pacific Crest, and cannot wait to see the unique personality and skill set of the 2023 cast.
