BRIAN ALMIRON has been involved in music programs since the fourth grade, starting off on alto saxophone before moving to the drumline in high school. Brian has performed with Antelope Valley College (bari sax and tenor line), California State University at Northridge Percussion Ensemble (front ensemble), West Coast Sound Drum and Bugle Corps (bass line), West Coast Classical’s Wind Ensemble and Saxophone Choir, Antelope Valley College Symphonic Band (tenor and baritone saxophone) and Cirque Bizerk (bass line).
Brian has been the Assistant Director of Bands and Percussion Instructor at Highland HS (Palmdale, CA) and has been part of percussion, and visual staffs in Southern California and Arizona since 1998, including Breakthrough Independent Percussion Ensemble (Peoria, AZ) and The Royal Cavaliers Performing Arts (Burbank, CA), placing in the top 3 in band and percussion in SCSBOA, PPAACC, WGAZ, WCWA and WCPA.
Brian has been working in the medical field for over 16 years, starting off as an Emergency Medical Technician in 2000 and working in Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, and the South Bay, before becoming a Medical Assistant in 2004. Brian is currently working at UCLA’s Urgent Care in Valencia, CA.
Brian lives in Palmdale, CA with his wife Adel, son Nicholas, and daughter Adalynn, who is part of the color guard at El Camino Real Charter HS in Woodland Hills, CA.
