Dante Hernandez
Front Ensemble Instructor
DANTE HERNANDEZ is a marching percussionist, arranger, and educator based in Brea, CA. He began his marching career at Mt. Carmel High School in San Diego, CA. After one of his instructors recruited him to march an independent group in Brea, he moved out to Orange County to study Music Education at Cal State Fullerton and pursue performing in the marching arts.
Dante has performed with many ensembles based in Southern California including Incognito Winter Drumline (2019), Gold Drum and Bugle Corps (2019), Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps (2020-2022), and Pulse Percussion (2022-2024).
His teaching experience includes La Mirada HS (2021-present), Centennial HS, Savanna HS, Whittier HS, Townsend Junior HS, Gahr HS (2023-present), and Gold Drum and Bugle Corps in 2023.
