Seth Shumate
Brass Instructor
SETH SHUMATE is currently working towards his undergraduate degree in horn performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studies with Jonathan Ring, 2nd horn of the San Francisco Symphony. Seth has taught at several high school programs in the Southern California area, including Alta Loma High School, Gladstone High school, and Sunny Hills high school. Seth also worked with Vanguard Cadets in 2022 as a mellophone technician.
Seth marched with Pacific Crest from 2016 to 2017, Phantom Regiment from 2018 to 2019, and finally aged out with Santa Clara Vanguard in 2021.
