Chris Schmitz
Visual Instructor
CHRIS SCHMITZ is a full time visual educator and designer based in Southern California.
His performance experience includes two years with the Sacramento Mandarins from 2016-2017. Chris was a visual tech at Golden Empire Drum and Bugle Corps from 2018-2022, and in 2022 joined the faculty at both Gold Drum and Bugle Corps and Gold Indoor Percussion.
At Tesoro High School, Chris has served as the visual caption head for two years. He is also currently on staff at Kennedy High School, Marina High School, Fallbrook High School, and Whittier High School.
In addition to teaching, Chris attends Fullerton College, where he is pursuing a Dance Education degree. He is very much looking forward to helping create a great learning environment at Pacific Crest!
