Jordon “JP” Pinchback

Born in The Old North State of North Carolina and raised in Tampa, Florida, JORDON PINCHBACK recently received his Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies from St. Petersburg College. While pursuing his degree, Jordon was an educational technician at Countryside High School as a dual visual and brass technician and indoor percussion director and visual designer/choreographer. Over the past few seasons, Jordon has been an integral part of the bands’ growth and development. Additionally, Jordon has served as a visual technician with Rockledge High and Largo High.
Jordon joins Pacific Crest with three seasons of drum corps under his belt, as a drum major for Heat Wave and a partial season of contra with Pacific Crest, rounding out his age-out season in 2017. Since the fall of 2017, Jordon has done a wide variety of administrative and managerial roles, ranging from volunteer and flight coordination to inventory intakes and rehearsal site management. In 2018, Jordon played an important role in Heat Wave’s first trip to Indianapolis, IN for DCI Open Class Prelims and World Class Prelims as their Operations Director. In 2019, Jordon was a Tour Operations Assistant with Spirit of Atlanta. In this role, his primary tasks were leading the Advance/Lead Vehicle Team and serving as the Assistant Facilities Coordinator. Since fall of 2019, Stuart Pompel, Chris Henderson, and Edward Martin of Pacific Crest have taught him a substantial amount of policy-making/implementation, effective communication techniques, and problem-solving strategies with navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
Outside of the pageantry arts, Jordon works as an Intervention Student Services Facilitator at Countryside High School. On a daily basis, Jordon ensures that students needing an opportunity to correct previous actions have the adequate space necessary. Jordon is currently in the Transition-To-Teaching (TTT) Certification Program and will begin the next academic year as an educator in the social studies department teaching American Government, Economics, and U.S. History. Additionally, Jordon is looking forward to attending Nova Southeastern University in the fall to pursue his Masters of Science in Philanthropy & Nonprofit Management. While not at Countryside, Jordon can be found supporting local eateries, coffee shops, and breweries in and around the Tampa Bay area. Bowling, tubing, and camping are other hobbies that Jordon enjoys while living in the Sunshine State.
