Cindy Barwegen, RN, BSN

CINDY BARWEGEN has been an emergency room nurse for the past 30 years. During her career, she has worked as an emergency medical technician, and has also been a medical crew member at the the Chicago Marathon and various music events. She currently works as a Registered Nurse and Commercial Flight Nurse.
Cindy earned her RN degree from Harper College in Palatine, IL, and received a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago, IL. She holds the following certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNS and ECRN.
Along with her passion for nursing, Cindy loves spending time with her family. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, crafts, and learning new things. Fun fact: she cared for her husband when he had a heart attack in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, while on a cruise ship! (He is doing well today.)
