Gabriel Gounaris

GABRIEL GOUNARIS currently lives in Johnson City, TN and attends East Tennessee State University. He is a music performance major studying tuba under Dr. Stephanie Frye-Clark. At ETSU he has played in the wind ensemble, a brass quintet, a tuba quartet, and the tuba-euphonium ensemble, as well as presenting multiple solo recitals.
Gabe started his drum corps career in 2012 at Music City, then went to the Madison Scouts, aging out in 2016. He now teaches at Science Hill High School in Johnson City as well as maintaining his own studio of private students, and has previously served on the brass faculty of the Oregon Crusaders and the Mandarins. Gabriel is beyond excited to be working with the Pacific Crest hornline for the 2019 season!
