Pacific Crest is pleased to announce its design team for the 2015 season.
MUSIC TEAM
Music Director and Brass Arranger – John Meehan
Returning for his fourth season with Pacific Crest, Meehan will collaborate with Visual Coordinator Ryan Springler (see below) to develop and produce the the 2015 show. His focus will be on the design of the musical arrangements and compositions.

Percussion Arranger – Michael Huestis
Huestis returns for a second season to arrange the full percussion score for the show. Michael currently teaches at The Colony High School in The Colony, Texas. He has been an educator for over 20 years and has participated in numerous national events as an educator, judge, clinician and performer.

VISUAL TEAM
Visual Coordinator – Ryan Springler
Ryan is entering his third season with Pacific Crest, and has been tapped as Visual Coordinator. He will work with John Meehan to develop and produce the 2015 production. Springler will rely on his talents to create and implement a vision for the visual facets of the 2015 show, including storyline, aesthetics, and scene development.

Visual Designer and Color Guard Choreographer – Angela Tousley
Angela is entering her seventh season with Pacific Crest and also serves as Color Guard Caption Head. She is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts, having earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance with an Emphasis in Choreography. She earned a Masters in Education and Teaching Credential at the University of La Verne. Angela teaches dance at Temescal Canyon High School.

Drill Designer – Steven Estudillo
Steven returns to Pacific Crest after a two-year break. He served as Visual Caption Head for The Cavaliers from 2011 through 2014, and is an accomplished and sought-after designer for marching bands and winter percussion programs.

Staff Coordinator – Seth Murphy
As Staff Coordinator, Seth coordinates the instructional goals of the program. He will also manage the production schedule and ensure alignment between design and instruction throughout the season. Seth is one of two band directors at Arcadia High School. He holds a Bachelor’s of Music from Winthrop University and Teaching Credential from Azusa Pacific University.

Program Advisor – Tom Aungst
Tom spent 27 years directing the percussion program for The Cadets, and is a member of the Drum Corps International Hall of Fame. He spent a number of seasons with the Bluestars, and is a veteran music teacher with Dartmouth schools in Dartmouth, MA. In 2015, he will direct the percussion program for Carolina Crown. Tom brings a wealth of design experience to the team, and will be available for guidance throughout the design process.
