Pacific Crest will present a marching band clinic free of charge to all band students in the Moreno Valley Unified School District.
This opportunity is made possible thanks to support from the Moreno Valley Unified School District and the City of Moreno Valley.
It is part of the Fourth of July festivities, which includes the City of Moreno Valley’s Fourth of July Parade and Family Fun Fest. Pacific Crest will perform at both of these events, as well.
The Pacific Crest Marching Band Clinic will be held at Valley View High School Stadium on Thursday, July 3, 2014. The event begins at 5 pm and will end at 7 pm.
During the clinic, students will interact with Pacific Crest instructors and members and learn some of their techniques to produce a world-class performance. Themes will include Excellence, Education, and the music educaton experience. Pacific Crest will end the clinic with a complete performance of its 2014 production, No Strings Attached.
“Our hope is that students will return to their band programs later this summer with a renewed sense of commitment and excitement,” said Pacific Crest Executive Director, Stuart Pompel.
