On Wednesday, July 3rd, Pacific Crest presented a clinic to the high school music students in the Moreno Valley Unified School District. “This isn’t about you becoming a member of Pacific Crest,” explained Corps Manager David Pham, “It’s about getting you fired up for the upcoming marching band season!”
Members of the district’s high school bands (Valley View, Vista Del Lago, Canyon Springs, Moreno Valley) and Yamato Youth Band interacted with corps members and staff in a two-hour clinic. “The focus of the clinic was to inspire these students by showing them what’s possible through hard work and dedication to the group,” explained Executive Director Stuart Pompel. “It is our hope that when band camp begins for these students in August, they’ll be ready.”
