Three shows, two of them hosted by Pacific Crest; Drum Major Camp; Snare Camp; School Outreach Program; Clinic for Band Students; Moreno Valley 4th of July Parade; and Rose Bowl Performance — Pacific Crest has been busy!
“Our performers are incredible!” said Executive Director Stuart Pompel about the number of events in such a short amount of time. “They moved effortlessly between a variety of events and gigs, and met their responsibilities all along the way. Our instructors have been working tirelessly alongside the performers to prepare for these events, as well. And to top it off, our support staff prepared meals, drove trucks and SUV’s, and ran two of the largest drum corps shows in the state!”
With just a week left before a four-week national tour, the corps continues is preparation at Valley View High School in Moreno Valley through Sunday, July 8th. The corps then moves to Azusa High School for all-day rehearsals, July 10 – 12.
Tour begins Saturday, July 14th, when the corps moves into Diamond Bar High School. Two final So Cal shows, and then it’s off to Arizona.
