Visual Instructor
DEVON BROWN is originally from Pasco, Washington, and began their Drum Corps career in 2015 at the age of 14 with the Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps. They continued their marching career as a member of the Seattle Cascades in 2017, and then as a member and later Horn Sergeant of the Boston Crusaders from 2018, until they aged out in 2022.
Devon has continued to further their experience within the activity as a Visual Instructor teaching marching and movement, working with the Troopers from 2023 to 2024, and with Music City in 2025. Devon’s marching and movement expertise comes from not only years of experience, but also their background in martial arts in their youth.
Outside of DCI, Devon is finishing their BA in Music with a Minor in Entertainment Technology from Central Washington University. Their background combines performance experience with a growing expertise in visual design and production, allowing them to create dynamic and engaging performance environments.
Driven by a love for the art and the collaborative spirit of Drum Corps, Devon strives to help performers reach their full potential while building confidence and artistry both on and off the field.
