CHRISTOPHER CARVELLI entered the marching arts in 2009 and has remained deeply connected to the activity ever since. He performed with Spirit of Atlanta in 2011 and 2012, experiences that cemented his passion for color guard and the broader performing arts community. After a decade of active-duty service in the United States Navy, Christopher returned to the activity with renewed purpose, committed to investing in performers both on and off the field.
He has taught in the coastal Virginia region, working with Grassfield High School and Princess Anne High School during the 2025–2026 seasons. In 2025, he returned to Spirit of Atlanta as a color guard instructor, continuing to contribute to the organization that helped shape his early marching career. Christopher is also currently performing with Etude Winterguard for their 2026 season, further expanding his artistic and performance experience.
Christopher is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology–Anthropology with a minor in Dance, combining academic study with his love for movement, education, and community. He looks forward to continuing to grow as both an educator and performer, and to sharing his passion, discipline, and experience with the next generation of marching arts students.
