Dr. Margit Lister
Health Team
DR. MARGIT LISTER is an OB/GYN physician at Intermountain Heath Layton Parkway Women’s Health. She is currently the Medical Director of Digital Technology Solutions for the service lines of Surgical Operations and Women’s Health.
Dr. Lister’s education started at the University of Tampa, where she received an academic and athletic basketball scholarship. She finished her Exercise Physiology degree at The Ohio State University, then pursued medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She finished her educational career at Riverside Methodist Hospital, completing her OB/Gyn residency in 2003.
Dr. Lister started practicing at Scioto OB/Gyn and stayed there for three years before beginning her career at Intermountain Health. She moved her family and two young boys to Ogden, Utah and started the group Wasatch OB/Gyn of Intermountain Health. After building the practice from two providers to 10, she left the group in 2021 to pursue her career in clinical informatics. In 2018, she became the Medical Director of Digital Technology Solutions supporting the service lines of Women’s Health and Surgical Services.
Her oldest son Brady’s first DCI experience was with Pacific Crest in 2022. Her youngest son Maddox joined the corps in 2023, marching alongside his brother. Both are in the battery: Maddox plays snare and Brody plays bass drum. She served on the Health Team in 2021 and looks forward to being a part of the team again.
