Amber Cameron

AMBER CAMERON has been involved with the DCI community in both performing and professional capacities for 7 years. Amber started her journey in 2017 at Pacific Crest as a trumpet player, and aged out with the corps 2019 as Drum Major.
Outside the world of drum corps, Amber is actively learning new skills and trades: she’s worked in hospitals and healthcare since 2021 after receiving her NREMT license, and recently became nationally certified as a Phlebotomist, Lab Assistant, and IV Technician. She uses her knowledge and skills to work at one of the oldest and most established hospitals in Denver. Amber is also a fun-loving barista at Dutch Bro’s coffee where she loves connecting with her regulars! She is also currently working toward her certification in Surgical Technology.
Amber has been involved in the music community since she started playing clarinet in 6th grade, but has put music aside. She now spends her free time going to concerts, running 5k’s, going to the gym, snowboarding at some of Colorado’s most beautiful resorts in the winter, attending baseball games in the spring, and making sourdough loaves and other baked goods. She’s based out of Denver, where she spends most of her time with her boyfriend, enjoying the life she has built in Colorado.
