Leadership Camp Instructor
ARTURO CASTRO joined the Pacific Crest family in 2012 as a member of the color guard section. After aging out, he served the Pacific Crest admin team from 2015 to 2018.
In addition to working with Pacific Crest’s administrative team, Arturo has previously worked as a staff clinician for the Fred J. Miller Summer Camps as well as serve as an educational consultant and choreographer for band, dance, and theater programs throughout Southern California.
He has worked with a variety of high schools, including Norte Vista, Canyon Springs, Temescal Canyon, Perkins, Bonita, and Beckman. Arturo has also worked with the Chaffey College Dance Department and Pulse Percussion, where he was part of the admin team during the 2018 season. He is presently the color guard director at Pasadena High School in Pasadena, CA.
Arturo’s performing experience includes Pacific Crest, The Madison Scouts, Empire Winter Guard, The Santa Clara Vanguard Winter Guard, and most recently, Fantasia Winter Guard, where he was a member during the 2019 season.
Arturo holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies and a minor in History from Cal Poly Pomona . He presently serves as operations coordinator for Housing is a Human Right, the housing advocacy division of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
