With a history that spans more than 100 years, Stanbury Uniforms continues to give back to Southern California marching bands as a major sponsor of the Pacific Crest Outreach Program. The program provides free and discounted tickets for high school bands to attend DCI shows in Southern California. As a result, 150 students will have the chance to attend this year’s Drum Corps at the Rose Bowl show at no cost, giving them a unique opportunity to experience a live performance with their peers.
In addition, these students and their band directors will have the chance to participate in a leadership and performance development workshop, which takes place prior to the show. The workshop — entitled On the 50 — is presented by e-Adjudicate Academy.
“Stanbury’s support of SoCal band students in this way is yet another example of how this company values music educators and the important work they do,” according to Pacific Crest CEO Stuart Pompel. “We have proudly worn Stanbury uniforms since 2009, and feel incredibly lucky to be part of the their family. ”
