How & when can I purchase my pre-owned instruments from Pacific Crest?
All pre-owned instruments are available for purchase and will require a 20% non-refundable deposit to be considered held or sold. Payment in full is required before instruments will be delivered or shipped to buyer. School Purchase Orders will be accepted. Every instrument is sold on a first come, first serve basis.
When can I expect to take delivery of my pre-owned instruments?
All instruments will be available for pick up at the Pacific Crest warehouse or a local high school. Instruments not picked up will be shipped. Postage must be paid in full for items to be shipped. Depending on the size of your order, freight might be required.
It is preferred that all large instruments – tubas and concert percussion – be picked up by the buyer. Contact us to arrange a date and time for you to pick them up in Southern California.
What will be the condition of my pre-owned instruments?
Most of the instruments have been used just one or two seasons. None are older than three seasons, though we have a handful of older euphoniums at discounted prices. Brass instruments come with a hard travel case but do not include a mouthpiece. Percussion instruments come with covers and Remo drum heads, if applicable. All Brass and Percussion instruments are sold without any major dents or defects. General wear and tear is to be expected on all pre-owned instruments.
How Long Will Instruments be Available?
Percussion instruments can be purchased at any time. Brass instruments, however, will not be available in October and November. During these months, remaining inventory will be sent in for service and repair. Pricing cannot be guaranteed after that time.
