Four drum majors were selected to lead Pacific Crest on the field for 2013. Tim Yao is returning for a second year, and will be joined by veteran member Zach Voth and two new members, DaJuan Brooks and Hobie Lindholm.
Tim Yao attends The Master’s College and is pursing degrees in film and music. He was the drum major for the Army All-American Band in 2011. “I am looking forward to working collectively as a corps, bringing PC to a new level through commitment, self-discipline, and a strong family environment.”
Zach Voth performed on trumpet with Pacific Crest in 2009, 2010, and 2012 and will ageout in 2013. Zach is a music education major at Grossmont College in El Cajon, California. “I’m excited to be part of what is hands-down going to be the strongest corps that PC has ever fielded. Since my rookie year, I have never been so excited as I am now to be a part of this drum corps!”
DaJuan Brooks attends the University of Arizona. He was drum major for Blue Devils “B” in 2011 and 2012, and won the Jim Jones Leadership Award in 2011. Like Zach, DaJuan ages out this coming season.
Hobie Lindholm is a senior at Lakeside High School in Lake Elsinore, California. He served as drum major for his high school band, and the 2013 season marks his first in the drum corps activity. “I am looking forward to being a member of Pacific Crest and am honored that PC will be my first drum corps experience.”
