He attended the Banner Institute of Chicago for Massage Therapy, where he graduated and became certified in December of 2006. Jim then completed his Fitness Instructor Training at McHenry County College in December of 2011. He is currently pursuing an AS degree in Health & Fitness Education at McHenry County College.
“This is a huge step for our organization,” explained Executive Director Stuart Pompel. “We’ve been fortunate over the years to have nurses and other medical providers on tour with us, but having Jim coordinate all our efforts in this area will make a huge difference for our members! It will also provide needed support for the medical providers who volunteer their time with us.”
Jim will be responsible for managing the corps’ medical program, including scheduling medical personnel for rehearsals and tour, maintaining injury logs, developing procedures, and coordinating the physical conditioning program.
