December Audition/Experience Camp FAQs

Revised: September 2019

CAMP INFORMATION

This is a stay-over camp (see housing information below). Arrive by 8 pm on Friday to allow time for check-in. Pacific Crest will provide all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack on Saturday; breakfast and lunch on Sunday). The camp ends at 6 pm on Sunday.

If you’re arriving late due to a school performance, SAT/ACT, honor band auditions, etc., please let us know by sending an email to Chris Henderson at chenderson@pacific-crest.org.

Instructors will teach and evaluate you in small sessions and large sessions throughout the weekend. You may also have an opportunity to audition individually.

Due to the number of students expected, you should plan to bring an instrument — your own or one borrowed from your school.

AIRPORTS

The closest airport to Arcadia High School is Los Angeles International (LAX). Ontario Airport (ONT) is next, and then Orange County (SNA). Pacific Crest does not provide transportation to/from the airport.

HOUSING

We provide overnight housing in the school gym on Friday and Saturday nights. Those needing housing Sunday night will need to make their own arrangements.
